"The bull run is nothing compared to being locked in the arena." Standing amidst the tumultuous 30 minute escapade in the Plaza de Toros to capture authentic video and audio, I literally went heals over head on July 8 with the help of a Spanish steer. At six feet and 210 pounds, I can take a hit and so I went back for more the next day. Four eye witness accounts by a California family I first saw in the bull ring July 8th - then encountered again on July 9th at the popular outdoor portion of the historic Cafe Iruna - provide the details of when I "Flew in the air" about which I have no memory due to a mild concusion. Since I returned to the USA, I provided a copy of this video to the California family I met in Pamplona and exchanged e-mail addresses with at that time. The reply I received is; "This is a great video and definitely leaves the viewer with a sense of the drama of the arena. Very well edited and great music." The song, "Paquito Chocolatero" is genuine San Fermin fiesta music from the CD titled "Viva Sud Oest" - which I purchased in the French side of the Basque region.
