  • I got an ipod touch for Christmas, the classic still works and isn't having problems since, but I don't really use it a lot anymore.

  • that is a hard drive failing i would recommended backing up your ipod and go to a apple store and see if you can get a replacement on but that is usually the start of hard drive failing

  • @LotsOfGreatStuff This is the 3G Monochrome

  • hey man, I have an ipod classic 80gb and I've had it for about a year, today it started making a weird clicking noise every once in a while, you seem to know a lot about ipods so I was wondering what this means and how I would go about fixing it.

  • is that the first ever ipod?

  • thats happend to acouple of my mobile phones before, they wouldent respond to charging or anything, but on time i just left it on charge and after a while the battery started charing and it worked again. i think u should just leave in plugged in to your computer to charge and they might come back to life =P, oru can just replace the battery which is easy.
