I decided to get a couple of male friends of mine to sit and talk about issues women have that we may want a male perspective on. Meet Mark and Ever : )

  • I really enjoyed the first segment but was kind of put off by the 2nd half about sex, especially Ever's comments about abstinence & the comments in general about sex on the first night. In my opinion, sex isnt supposed to be a recreational activity loosely perfomed during moments of lust. That mentality is a contributing factor in the high rates of HIV cases, unplanned pregnancies and emotionally unstable individuals that were'nt ready for the emotional changes that follow sex. But great topic!

  • @UntamedTomi I totally get what you mean, but I definitely wanted to bring in "real world" questions and for the most part, ppl have casual sex... Some ppl don't... In no way am I condoning irrational sex, but it's OK to talk about it.. But now watching it back, I will definitely put up a disclaimer in the beginning of future videos if there is any content related to sex... I'm glad you enjoyed the segment though :)

  • I was having sex before marriage and thought it was great, When I got married I found out the love making was Awesome!!!! and I was with the same man before and after marriage. It is the bond and the holiness of marriage that makes it worth waiting for. I wish my husband was my first. Those who I had sex with before him, in the end, did not deserve it.

  • LMAO "I ain't waitin' for nothin'!"

  • yoo I wanna hang out with Taren and Mark lol invite me to tea lol

  • ...and human communication is about 77% projected through our body language/ actions. So whether two people choose to wait (not have sex) or be physically intimate (get butt ass naked!) the key is that both individuals have to have a mutual connection to grow! As for natural hair and wigs.. each to there own.. if someone loves you then they will see that the topic is trivial and will be more focused on the inner qualities!

  • I think that alot of individuals (both male&female) put alot of emphasis on 'sex' too! A relationship is multi layered and 'I' believe that if two people want to get to know each other and evolve together then 'intimacy' and 'communication' play major roles for success!

  • It as if we've placed so much emphasis on sex in our relationships between male and female that we seem to forget the "relation" part of it all. Let's take sex out of the equation...what happens to the relationship. ... I I'm all about the natural hair :) ... weave, wigs...well there are exceptions I guess...but the more natural the better I think.

  • Taren pull up your shirt!! lol

  • Shoot! I am transitioning to natural and I flinch when people touch my hair! I'm scared because I'm not sure if they will get their hands back. My hair is kinky sometimes!!

  • Thanks for sharing! I'll be buying the book ASAP!

  • "Marriage is three years minimum" - where did you get that statistic? My sister got married five years ago after dating, getting engaged and married all in a span of 6 months. And they didn't have their first child until year three and they are very happy together. Basically, don't useless baseless information or references to friends to justify your own desire for sex. Plenty of men wait all over the world - its not rocket science, just takes this thing called DISCIPLINE.

  • I love that you did this video. I like to hear a guys perspective/opinion on different things. And it was interesting to here these two. It's always good to have open healthy discussions like this, it get's everyone thinking. :-)
