  • What about it you had several of these running side by side. would that run a car.? and where can we get a copy of the DIY info.?

  • I think that one ''bigger'' would be able to run a car , at the moment I'm trying to learn how to make a website and I hope to put it on web some day .

  • MOS POWER !!! WOOOW !

  • Hello! I am impressed by the controller that you did. Is it possible to show me the scheme. If you do not mind please send it to me at email- Plamen.23@abv.bg Thank you in advance:):):)

  • I am looking for a good Quvality Brushless Controller...Its got to be over 250 Amp.and hopefully up to 400 or more...Oh if i just knew like you how to build my own!!? :-(, but hey i build my own brushless motor :-) the Controller is another problem :-).....Do you know of a very good Controller that can work for my project?

    I aprishiate that....

  • the url is complete. just remove the spaces. ht tp : / / zev. dk/misc/diagram8. gif

also 2 +5V in parallel doesn't add up to 10V unless the SG3525 is very special in that regard. it's still only 5V.

also driving the gate of power transistors can require significant current that the little chip probably can't handle. you probably need a driver chip. you can use the IXYS 414PI one that I use and you can supply it with a 7812 voltage limiter (as long as it's only a 20-30V controller)

  • Shematic at the begining of the video is just example of PWM .

Output of the sg3525 is +5V each (out A is +5V and out B is +5V) when diodes are conected like on shematic those voltages are adding (5V+5V =10 on MOSFET gate).

    Can you give me full url ? h t t t p : / / .............

I hope You can understand me because my english is terrible .

    :)

  • You could do a list of things but it doesnt look nice :D

  • is the comp output of the pwm chip high enough voltage to fully open the gate on the transistors? is it 5V? 5V doesn't appear to open the gate fully so it acts like a resistor and it will be very hot or fail.

also you don't appear to have a freewheeling diode in your buck circuit. if you intend to use the LED as the freewheeling diode then it looks like it's pointing the wrong way. I've worked on a concept circuit you might look at zev. dk/misc/diagram8. gif

you can use 7812 for driver supply

  • nice build. you can use bus wire and solder it on the PCB to strengthen the current capability

  • Good design. ...Hey guys I need help any body can give me schematic diagram of this controller?..."user100ja" can you share with me your 300Amp controller? i'm interested of converting my car to EV.
