  • very nice a video of an amp thats not even on! But I like your video and I have a 6505+ and love its tone. How do you like THD Hot Plate?? do you think there worth the money?? I have never used anything like that but being in an apartment it sounds like the perfect device. Thanks and nice video

  • @domino2205 It's worth the money if you live in an apartment, but try to find one used. The prices are outrageous if bought new.

  • Great tone! But was this panned?

  • @TFCFredNVick It was panned.

  • Thanks for this vid. I Got a 6505+ and a Mesa cab because of it. It's a great representation of the tone. It's the tone I was always chasing and I found it cause of your vid. THANK YOU!

  • @Anthony556 Glad to hear I could help

  • @s3177000 haha please tell me you're trolling...Line 6 spiders are some of the worst amps you can buy, way too digital and have barely any mid-range to them..hopeless amps, and you are comparing that to a genuine, built in the USA tube amp..yea you gotta be trolling..

  • does the hot plate make a huge difference?

  • A lot more treble needed dude. Nice playing and nice amp though!

  • awesome riffing

  • @chuckelator nah it's all good man! :)

  • @klblackstar I know that the pre is the gain control. I guess technically you're right, but with a pre and a post, that's essentially a MV circuit. If it was a single channel amp, that would be a MV though. Not trying to argue, I assure you, just trying to have a friendly discussion, so please don't take it the wrong way. :)

  • @domino2205 I'd suggest a Weber Mass, if your going to pick up an attenuator.

  • @chuckelator ah okay. i've played several before. you probably think that the pre gain is like your channel volume, it isn't, it's just your standard gain control. each channel has it own post gain, which is essentially just a channel volume. there's no master volume on the amp.

  • @klblackstar Not to pick hairs...but technically, yes, this amp doesn't have a control labeled master...but with pre and post levels, yes, it's essentially got a master volume. Granted I've never played one before, but your post gain is your master.

  • @chuckelator the 6505 doesn't have a master volume dude.
