I was there, just a little on the right from where you probably took the video... Would you have by any chance recorded the ending "Ballade" with Christian singing ? I must say watching De Futura live is great but I prefer the studio version, I think the speed is handled better. Imo live they start too slow and end too fast... But that's just my opinion. The ending Ballade though... Probably one of the most moving moments of my life.

Magma comes to The Netherlands !!! (may 22 Nijmegen Music Meeting festival)

Except that that's not Pagannotti, it's a woman--who's playing with Janick Top on the 2009 tour.

Yes ,the original title was De Futura Hiroshima, and it's still sometimes introduced that way. The Udu Wudu album lists it only as De Futura.

Who was the violinist?
Is that Natalia Ermilova?
-
Hiroshima???
The Violin player is called Natalia Ermilova and she was there because she was part of Jannik Top's band playing 'Infernal Machina', the opening number for MAGMA that night.
Bernand Paganotti was the bass player for MAGMA during 1974-75-76 and the bands Weidorje and Paga.
Himiko and Antoine Paganotti were two of the voices during the fruitful 2000-2009 period (even though Antoine was singing in MAGMA since late 90's).
In this video there's no Paganotti singing or playing in MAGMA.
