Try with a fixed red and flashing orange and yellow LEDs next time.
This would better represent the steady red glowing embers and moving orange/yellow flames, and the regular flashing would be less obvious since orange and yellow are not such dominant colours as red.

It doesn't flicker randomly, it just flashes on and off. Poor.
