not really that hard to understand.... basically they take stuff like rice husks which is a "waste" and replace a certain percentage of coal which and burn to produce electricity... this reduce the amount of coal required for the process.. in a way it reduce waste and reduce usage of fossil fuel
Energy is not necessarily equal to electricity.
There are much better, decentralized solutions,
which are also saving money and resources.
However, the immense profits of the "utilities" are than vanishing.
