It was the war they said couldn't be won...at least not without some serious overtime. From the Department of Cartography to the Bureau of Weights and Measures, a small group of dedicated and fearless government renegades fought tirelessly to defend us from the scourge of the Metric System in the 1970's. Forgotten until now, their valiant story can finally be told in animated short documentary form.

Nicely done art, too bad facts were not true, does that make bad art? You did not include the millions of American workers with two sets of tools they must have to work. Funny they have two set at home, too. That is alot of money spent. Or that companies have one wall of shelves of Imperial hardware and one wall of Metric hardware & tools, wasted money. America competing in a Global Market, I do not think so, Republicans screwed us royally, after they shipped out jobs to Metric only Countries.

Joram,
At last, I now see why Americans hate the metric system so much, while all other countries in the world (200 of them) simply can't do without it. It's the U.S. hate-vendors that spread false informaton around the place showing how the metric system is actually MORE difficult than the customary system. Americans actually BELIEVE that multplying 1 ft 11 3/4 of an inch by 9 and five eghths inch is actually EASIER than multiplying 28 x 32 mm!! The Burmese Army would just LOVE to enlist you.
