I saw these guys at a little place in Chico, Ca back in 91

@Smeghead65 I don't think that's irony - I think the Paul Stanley imitation + 1976 is very deliberate!

I can't believe that anyone actually thought that Paul Stanley sang this....Oops I decided to listen to it again and I found where people thought it might be Paul. I can see how it could happen thought guy sounds just enough like him and if I'm not mistaken they were both signed to Mercury Records at the time. Also you would think that some of them are KISS fans as they covered "Deuce" in 1984. But as a KISS fan since somewhat ironically 1976 I can tell it isn't him.

This was the first Redd Kross song I had ever heard, I came too it right after seeing The Spirit Of '76... Now I am a huge fan :)

As much as you might want to believe it, that is *not* Paul Stanley, but lead guitarist Robert Hecker. Google coughs up two or three links confirming this, if you search "Redd Kross 1976 Paul Stanly Robert Hecker"

Saw RK perform in San Antonio, Texas about 18 years ago and these guys were awesome and I still think it's Paul Stanley singing back-up vocals. I think Paul requested not to be credited.

I wish they'd remaster 'Third Eye'..
