If anyone does not know the SA-X attacks samus because she was injected with the metroid vaccine at the beginning of the game. The SA-X sees samus as a very smart and very powerful metroid.

Omega metroid is the very last form of the metriod withc is the last boss in metroid 2 and takes place on sr388. (the wiered things u saw in the test tubes were the other forms of the metroids )
