Using family history and blood type, as well as simple diagnostic tools like fingerprint analysis, leg length measurements, and dental characteristics, Dr. D'Adamo shows you how to map out your genetic identity and discover which of the six GenoType plans you should follow. Without expensive tests or a visit to the doctor, The GenoType Diet reveals previously hidden genetic strengths and weaknesses and provides a precise diet and lifestyle plan for every individual. Based on the latest and most cutting-edge genetic research, this is a twenty-first-century plan for wellness and weight loss from a renowned healthcare pioneer.

@ErictheMormon what do you mean ?

Don't forget this all started more than 20 years ago based on medical research from the 50's. There are almost 7,000 MEDLINE articles that show how blood type affects people in ways that have nothing to do with blood transfusion. The GenoType Diet is a continuum of ongoing research, and Dr D'Adamo has had tens of thousands of patients overcome life-long health battles by following a diet that he wouldn't prescribe to another patient. That's pretty damn coincidental if you ask me.

the more I look at this at the website, the more i think this may be psychological and not describe the statistics enough... seems suspicious cause I dont know exactly how it works

but the question then is -- how do you know whether the diet worked because it was generally healthy or because it was suited for your genes?
genes are important in combination with nutrition... but I am not sure if archetypes is the best way to talk about this

I keep my mind open on the subject. One thing I'm sure about is that you have to personalize your diet. A great diet for you brother may not work for you. You have to experiment with food until you determine which ones does not make you gain too much weight.

if one gets healthy on one of these individualized diets then it's substantial.

DNA is a continuum not a horoscope. This is unsubstantiated.
