He does not demand anything from his promoter, he does not choose his opponents, he doesn't even care about his cut of the purse. When they tell him to fight, he fights.

This is where this Lucero guy ended his boxing career: he was just like a desperate boxer throwing desperate punches, trying to hit his luck. What a shame! There was no science nor art in his boxing. There was no accuracy in his punch throws. What he did was not a sign of a principled fighter. A de la Hoya would not do that. A Barrera or Morales would not do that. A Marquez would not do that. This Lucero can't be an ambassador to boxing. He won't be. I won't watch a fight by this Lucero again.
