I took my santa cruz to the peak district in single format. I left everyone for dead. s/s rocks!

+1. yep, interesting trail but needs to be ridden 2X+ faster
-
I went round it on my old cyclocross bike last week in the wet
More fun on skinny tyres

this is a walking path at best. My grandmother could ride it

I rode this red trail last week. Great fun. I hired one of the Kona Dawg bikes there and it was the first time i've ridden u full sus bike even tho i'm 27 and luckily this covered for my cack handed bike handling skills. As a roadie i found the uphills quite easy but then i had a shed load of gears on the bike. I'm now converted and will buy a decent bike :-)

Nice you have a great riding style and that bike sounds like it serves you well
Did he get to the top of the Scorpian? the video just ended as he was going up it. I have never made it on a 27 geared bike. YET.

Hi there, I use 32x16. I've used 34x16 and spoken to people who ride 32x18, but 32x16 is the best compromise. I rode TransScotland on this bike 32x16, very varied terrain and 500km in 7 days. Cheers, al.

Hi, i ride fixed on the road for commuting, but I think it's a bit mad off-road! For drops, jumps and tight corners I don't think it could work for me.
