Some QRP contacts made in the Northwest (Washington and Alaska) in the past few weeks. Conditions have not been very great of late, but I still keep pushing the 5 watts the best I can. Location, location, location.
@redman840 Dennis, thanks! I have yet to get my signal into AZ, but if I do I will be looking to work you. Wow, the Falklands, I am jealous =). Don't worry, more videos are on their way. 73 KJ6BBS
Chris, great video on QRP ops.I do QRP with my ICOM 703+ here near Tucson and have done quite well including VP8LP in Falkland Islands with 10 watts.Keep up the good work and we hope to see more nice videos like this.73.Dennis W7KB.
@W7TMD Thanks! Talking to folks in Alaska is cool. I swear I have a direct propagation line beaming right up to Washington, British Columbia, and parts of Alaska. It has to be the seawater. I'll look GORC up.
