I'm curious as to what your take on how the protests played out? not, so much protesters, but what I felt is far more important and significant; the assault on the media. People like Amy Goodman getting arrested at the RNC when all she was trying to do was speak with an officer in charge so she could help two of her producers who were also arrested earlier? the AP journalist who was arrested, the raids on independent journalists such as Eye Witness Video? I think MetaBob is mistaken when he mentions hypothetical people burning the American flag prior to the internet that he assumes were leftists. As was demonstrated by the leader of the Alaskan independence movement that Sarah Palin was part of, people on the radical right can also loath America. Timothy McVeigh was obviously not a lefty.
