  • there is one thing , quads and triceps are very similar muscle in terms of movement and ancles the names self telling.... quadTRICEP, if you go one with your statement that would mean you would just doing benchpress for triceps or pullups for bizeps.. and thats not true same for chest theat would mean that flys (becuase fly is isolated like leg extensions) are useless

  • i do leg extensions every quad workout. i do squats, front squats, hack squats as well though but always leg extensions and my quads swelled up like balloons. (i was really top heavy, still am a little)

  • Damn, my 90 yo grandpa's calves are bigger than yours. You look like johnny bravo, dig body small legs!lol

  • sometimes i will do them light and hi rep not just as a warm up but also to pre-exhaust before back squats or front squats. I feel that they are useful for that purpose but im with you on not being a good mass builder

  • I totally agree, leg extensions suck, hightened risk of injury and at best a warmup exercise
