Ymittos & the fires

Ymitos mount is one of the Athens mountains. Each year the mountain is burned by "unknown" people who are never arrested. The mount is famous for rare species of birds, animals as well as plants. On 16.7.2007 a new fire destroyed what the past years had been saved. In this video are included info related to the rare species that live in Ymittos. However there are included info on the number of claims from physical persons or public entities who claim that they own properties on the mount and they want to build it. We must not permit the construction of new buildings at mount Ymittos.
Mount Ymittos must be saved!!!!

Ciao...avevo scritto in sardo "che immenso danno, che immensa pena"..ma di fronte all'immane tragedia di questi giorni era ancora poca cosa...quando vedo le immagini della splendida Grecia bruciata da mano criminale, quando vedo quella povera gente, quelle mamme piangere è come se vedessi piangere la mia stessa mamma..e non riesco a fermare le lacrime..l'uomo ormai è totalmente pazzo..vi sono vicino con grandissimo affetto e sympatheia

Nuraxis e vero. Quando fu il fuoco del 16.7 a Ymittos ancora non c era la tragedia a Peloponeso, Evia e al resto della Grecia. Penso che la gente che hanno messo il fuoco non possono essere nominate persone umane. Comunque sto preparando qualcosa per i fuochi al resto della Grecia. Tutti aiuteremo gli habitanti delle zone che hanno sofferto e rifaremo tutto dal cappo, trane le persone che sono morte.....
