You're right, I also agree one can never judge to know who is and who is not a true Christian. Perhaps Hitler confessed his sins and truly repented at the very last moment before he died but if he committed suicide, he did was Judas did and if he did repent in his heart, it would have to be a changed heart; and that's not easy to do in fact, only Christ can do that for us. Jesus said "you'll know them by their fruits". No, the Hitler we knew by his works was not a Christian.

You can't deny the fact that the church has had a bad past ( ie the inqustion , witch burnings etc)
No God would have allowed that. God could have been more clear and told everyone not to attack people in his name

To be fair it goes both ways -- how many times have christians said -- atheist killed million - take stalin for example or Mao or communism ( which some Christians seem to mistake of atheism).

No, noo....we (atheists) say you're not acting christ-like WHEN YOU DON'T. It's not so much an insult as a staement of fact. If ur claim is in a loving, merciful god and ur filled with hate then EXPECT 2 b called on your hypocrisy! Hitler was just sick but DID adhere to an ideology. Hitler and the witch trials ARE examples of religious fanatacism and so pointing to Jesus as a comparison is innacurate. Jesus was not a Xtian, He was Christ! Ur god set a standard and u guys suck at following it!
