How would it feel to be locked up in a cage waiting for someone to take you home? watching possible families walk past you without a glimpse? overhearing them saying "he's too big." "He's too old." "He isn't cute enough." knowing that you're not good enough to have a home. watching the dog next to you or in front of you be walked out on a leash about to have a home. Your hope starts to dwindle, you've done everything, greeted everyone of them wagging your tail and putting on the cutest face you could but they still pass you. Knowing that if you dont find a home it means the death of you.
Or even worse... you had a home but they left you...deserted you.... forgot you and left you in this place where you'll never see them again. Not even knowing what you did wrong... But you're not angry at them... you understand, they did this for a reason right?
Year after Year thousands of dogs are put down because they couldnt find a home, how would you like to be in their position? please if you're adopting a dog adopt from a shelter... the dogs life depends on it

I got my dog from a breeder...
If I didn't already have a dog, I would beg my parents ALL the time to get one from the shelter. I would choose whichever I loved the most, no matter what they looked like. <3
