@biggytop it's designed to flex not break. I've thrown my shovels hundreds of times over the years. The handles eventually wear out (and are very cheaply replaced) but I've been using the same shovel heads for 6 years without issue.

No it can not . It wasn’t designed for such thing like digging. You can build a space ship or hit a satellite with it but digging ... no , no chances that it will.
