Marillion - Whatever is Wrong With You

A music video created by my brother, Colin(PhilosopherShale) and I, for the Marillion's Whatever is Wrong With You Video Contest.

Colin came up with the idea, built the stage set, put all of the minifigures together and gave lots of motivation. I animated, did the special effects (including mouth animation), built the house rooms, and put together the instruments.

how did u put the mouth on the minif? i know that stuff about papagayo

I draw the mouths in a free program called the Gimp, then I paste them frame-by-frame onto the minifigure's face.

and when u use papagayo?

I use Papagayo first, by loading the audio track (in this case the song)into Papagayo, then writing in the lyrics and matching them up to the words in the song. Papagayo shows what the mouths should look like for every frame, so I draw them in the Gimp.

I've been meaning to make some video effects tutorials, and uploading them onto YouTube. I should do one about my method of mouth animation.

Youd better download MonkeyJam, and start off with a webcam like the LogitechQuickcam Pro 4000 or newer models.

I downloaded VideoMach, but I don't know how to do stop motion on it...
