@karinansen Ouch, yeah I have one myself and I do find you have to be careful that that section is tightened up right. Change the handlebars too to something wider has been the best improvement I made. A velcro strap to ensure that bar can't pop out would have been a good one in your case. The 31miles they quote here is downhill with wind and with a 50 lb Chinese kid riding it, but it did haul my 180lb ass up over 10 miles of gradual incline today.

You have to warn the buyer about the front bar popping out and how dangerous this is. I had been driving mine for five weeks when, Monday evening, driving down Torry Pined Blvd, the front lever came un-hooked and I lost control of the bike. I went face first into the pavement. I just got back from the doctor's, I have lacerations on my chin, cheek, lips, a black eye, a fractured occipital bone and whiplash. I have no insurance so this doctor's visit cost over $250.
