You guys serious? Game starts, sit at fountain, cast AoE over and over until your stun charges. Go to lane. Now if you have to fight off an invade, you have a stun. Can't do it with Q since you need a target. You can CS with your auto attack, if u need Q to CS, theres a problem. You get level 2 in like 30 seconds anyway...

@Metruzero I play annie quite often as my AP mid, and I always go her aoe first. I always get it the second the game starts and start casting it. It doesn't take that long to get a good stun, and usually since jungle ganks happen around the 1:30-2:00 mark you would have ample time to charge at fountain, and then get to protect.

@MusicManDubstep Actually most Annie's would get their q first to cs with. And what annie do you know would use 5 aoe to get the stun? She would either be oom or at the platform. Go play Annie and you see how fun it is to do what you just said.
