@scienceforce Sorry want to hang on to it, having had it up and running i know it was well built. forgot to say before i also plugged a tape player in the input socket which may have been partly responsible but as it didnt damage it straight away im not sure, the guy i bought it from sold it as he was tired of getting it fixed but when i have the money and can find someone capable i will give it a major overhaul. thanks for the interest though it's good to see someone else appreciates it.

This could be a great song but you need to add a melody on top.

Amazing find! all synth nerds will be drooling!
I have one of these and it was awesome but stupidly i plugged it straight into the mains and although it worked for a while it no longer appears to be working anyone know what sort of power supply it needs

@airbrush1701.
Hi, There is a custom Maplin PSU inside with different voltages. Are you interested to sell it is "as is" conditions? Thanks

from buchla300: Nice! I have the predecessor ( ETI 4600 )
Must get it up and running. Certainly cool and slightly underrated machines but depending who built it, they can be problematic. Yours seems to be a-ok

from me: I bought this Maplin 5600s from a cool UK engineer. It working perfect, professionally built & wired. Of course I have personally cleaned some old scratching pots... anyway a standard work to do on old synthesizer.
