  • Wikcked. What must i work on to get my jump as high as possible?

  • I'm not Joe, but I can tell you that the jump with the weights forces your CNS to recruit more muscle fibers, and the subsequent jump tricks your body into recruiting the same amount of muscle fibers as before because it expects the added weight to be there, causing your second jump to be more explosive than normal. An extreme example of this would be MAX-EX training employed by Ben Johnson's training a bit over a decade ago.

  • SICK!!

  • From what I remember in an article Joe wrote. The faster your eccentric movement (going down) is the faster your concentric movement is (jumping).

  • NICE!!!!

  • AMAZING!!!THAT WAS COOL!!!!!

  • Hey joe can you tell me a little about the science behind that?

  • NICE!!!!!
