Ollydbg Tutorial #1

The program I cracked is called password_app and it is downloaded at:

If I get enough good comments, I'll post a link to a similar program to the one im cracking so that you can test your skill on cracking it.

Why create the most unuseful tutorial. Normal apps are nowhere near this easy, especially with the new encrypted Key Registers. it's like trying to complete a million part puzzle.

@Dylanfps OllyDbg obly can open 32-bit executables....if you don't know the difference between 32-bit and 64-bit, I don't think this is for you.

On a tut you still should've shown how to search for the referenced strings. Some people (noobs) get stuck right there at the beginning cause you skip a step.

I like how 90% of the comments on these debugger videos are all by kids between the ages of 7 and 12 trying to hack video games. Kids these days...
