NOTE: If the video is shaky for anyone watching this, I really want to apologize for that, I'm really not sure how to fix it. For some reason it appears warped here, but when embedded in forums it appears normal.

Left 2 Go Postal was originally a zombie invasion type mod for Postal 2. It began with zombies, but after getting the basic stuff done, such as online controllers, animations, etc. I decided to make things interesting by implementing more advanced behavior, in this case, a boss fight with Winged Skeleton from Eternal Damnation.

This was my second boss fight and after trying out and confirming stuff works with Mike J, I decided to try more advanced stuff. One of the newer additions was that the Winged Skeleton could teleport across the map after each attack, always ensuring that there's essentially nowhere the players could hide.

Like Mike J, he had the ability to throw projectiles, in this case flaming skulls, unlike Mike J however, he also had the ability to lay mines on the field in the form of, once again, flaming skulls. I originally decided they could not be shot to be destroyed, so as the boss fight went on, the map would become more and more claustrophobic, forcing the players to constantly move around.

Some attacks however, didn't end as well as I had planned. One of them being the Winged Skeleton's ability to summon other Skeleton Warriors to aid him. While the initial summoning worked well, it wasn't able to detect that they were dead, as a result, once you took out the first wave, you were done.

Another attack that didn't work as well was the ring of fire. While the Napalm pourer attached and spread fluid correctly, it wouldn't do it as smoothly as I would've liked, as a result, there were pretty large holes in the ring of fire, allowing the players to easily avoid it.

The original idea behind this was for the Winged Skeleton to teleport close to the player, at which he or she only had a short time before being forced inside a ring of fire. At which point, it was either run through and catch on fire, or skillfully sidestep to dodge the Winged Skeleton's point blank throw of an explosive flaming skull.

Another thing that didn't work too well was the mines. Offline, it worked great, but online they didn't do any damage, as a result, I could easily walk through a mine field at one time without taking any damage.

While many things didn't turn out well for this one, it was still pretty damn fun.
