A rare vocal outing for the star of Stanley Kubrick's "Lolita"; it was released as a single on MGM K 1306, b/w "Turn Off The Moon" (which I also have uploaded here); song was written by Riddle/Harris and features the music of Nelson Riddle. The copy I uploaded is from my OOP MGM vinyl LP, called "MGM Parade Of Hits".

  • Te Amo Sue Lyon =D

  • I have a version of this by THE VENTURES, but I don't know if it's on Youtube.

  • @KnockelII Yup :=)

  • Great lyrics.

  • @t33ngoth As two seperate entities, I can appreciate them both. I (unfortunately, as die-hards would say) I saw the Kubrick film before reading the novel. I'd known beforehand that the book would be much more graphic, but I found the character of Humbert even more shocking, finding that there would be absolutely no sympathizing with him, after being charmed by James Mason. I am equally disturbed, as a Kubrick freak, knowing that if I had read the novel first, I would have loathed the film.

  • hated this movie. it was so different from the book. the 1997 one is just as bad. she's beautiful, though.

  • This is more profound than pop music today.

  • @nauort23 No joke, man.

  • @icarus212001 Fifty years later, doesn't it, though?
