Resistance 3 DLC Too Soon- Bulls***

On the day of release (US), Insomniac Games and Sony announced that paid DLC will becoming LESS THAN A MONTH later, in early October. It also costs money.

This is a dangerous and bullshit trend, and needs to end now. It's saddening that one of my favorite developers is pulling the same stunt.

Also surely it's best to release DLC close to a release of a game, that is when the interest is at it's highest peak for the game, not months latest. Your logic fails and you obviously don't understand the industry.

@deanastley OK. we'll see how many people actually buy it. I sincerely doubt that after the game went gold, they had the idea of adding a basic multiplayer mode that's found in most other AAA shooters.

Judging by the many many comments I've read on the subject on sites like IGN, I'm not alone. At all. So you must be the all-mighty know it all when it comes to this industry., and everyone else is an idiot, right?

Developers usually have about 1 month free before a game releases because a game normally goes gold about 1 month early. This means the developers have free time to work on more content. Complaining about early DLC is ignorant. And I'm sure us Plus gamers will get some stuff. Also that means that developers are going to work every day for a few weeks before a game comes out working on new content, are you saying those dev's shouldn't be paid for their work?
