God bless Richard Nixon and his proposition of HMO's. No more affordable health care only medical bills and medical coverage denial by private insurance companies whom decide whether you get the surgery done or not! Fucking Thieves!

As a Canadian, I'd take the 'crummy crap Obama care' because then I know I'd have a doctor not worried about pushing the next drug company that is lining his pocket and is actually focused on my health care. I bet you would change your tune if you needed something that isn't covered by your health insurance

Obama is American. I'm Canadian and I know that. Anything that says otherwise is just fear mongering. Also, the U.S. isn't the only country who gave stimulus packages...and in the past that is what has brought countries out of recession. Well, that and war. And that's not really going well for you guys either.

Canadians do no go in droves to the us BUT when they do go for treatment, nine out of ten times our government is PAYING for it. If the waiting lists are too long here, our system will pay for your treatment if you can secure it elsewhere

They spend 15% on health care that 33 million people can't afford. THAT'S fair.

My question is worse for who? The people who have to choose between setting broken bones or their next semester's tuition? The United States is the ONLY developed country without a universal health care system. Ask anyone in any country with one and they usually say it is one of the reasons they are proud of their country

Why do we even need any type of healthcare system anyway? isnt every person responsible for taking care of their own health.,i mean it seems hypocrical too expect the gov'or whom ever too assist us with the health that god gives us,besides it would seem that the medical profession has failed us,americans are getting sicker by the year.
