Was that stock exhaust? Didnt seem like it, but i dunno, never heard one revv up. All the Dallas drivers of these cars are pussies.

All BMW's have chassis codes (all 3 series from 1984-91 are E30's). The 2009 M3 is on the E92 chassis

joc718 yes it is. The e92 is code for 2006-present 3 series coupe. The current M3 was released in 2008 (based on 3 series). The previous M3 (2001-2006) was based on the last 3 series (E46).
