@melina001a And ending the war is for everyone's good. There are many times throughout the series when the Autobots have passed up golden opportunities to be rid of the Decepticon threat forever in order to save a few innocent lives.

@melina001a This battle that Optimus has with Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker shows that Autobots think differently than Jedi. Jedi always fight for the greater good, even if they have to sacrifice innocent lives to do it. If Optimus had thought like a Jedi, he would have allowed the computer to explode and kill the humans since eliminating Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker would have seriously hindered Megatron's forces and brought the Autobots closer to ending the war.

@Slashercon Actually, Megatron shot Prime in the open wound that Megatron had inflicted with the lightsaber during the first part of their battle.
