  • MARY MCDONNELL!!! ZOMG. I'm looking forward!

  • I have just finished watching this episode and I am very pleased. I was not surprised in the least when it was revealed that Dixon had Ashberger's! I know the traits Mary describes very well as my brother has grown up with this. Mary interpreation was very good and accurate, at least within my own experience. I was very impressed and commend the writer's and Mary Macdonnell!

  • I have ashbergers and i could tell u the most minute details about things that im interested in but for the life of me i can't remember what i had for breakfast. also i have a hard time socializing because there are times i say the wrong thing i don't that it was inaproite. i have since learned to go by facial expressions and vocal tones but it's not an excat science

  • Not the part about having something very specific to offer society, but the way she portrays the character.

  • Well this is a bunch of BS.

  • aww man. i love mary, but she can't move her face in that interview. it must be shortly after she'd gotten work done.

  • @Hamilton940 I disagree. I think that Mary McDonnell did a great job portraying someone with severe Asperger's. And I actually have Asperger's, so I would know. House doesn't have AS, he's just an asshole (in a loveable way).

  • she looks nothing alike now!

  • yes it is. Mary McDonnell played Stands With A Fist. and there really was no need to call me a clownass

  • If that makes you feel better toward your relative, so be it, but you do a diservice to people who have A.S. by stereotyping them as idiots. A.S. is on the autism spectrum, not the other way around. Her behavior in character is Autistic, but to suggest it is A.S. is like having MRSA and calling it a pimple. The A.S. spectrum is not wide enough to fit the Gray's character into it. I suggest you do a search for famous people with Aspergers, and get a broader view of this syndrome.

  • No, my family member just has AS and it is severe. It has a very wide spectrum as I was saying. His is severe and he actually acts worse than she did when she portrayed Dr. Dixon.
