SARAH'S LATEST VIDEOS POSTED TO YOUTUBE ARE 'SAY IT'S POSSIBLE' AND 'BLUE CHAIR'

Autum; [original text from Sarah] I recorded 'Autumn' into my mobile phone in my bedroom on the 10th February 2010, the evening my mother, Debbie Phillips, died of cervical cancer. Family friend, Charlie Mole, subsequently added the musical accompaniment. This was played as a tribute at her funeral on 25th February. Cervical cancer has for a long time been the 'poor relation' of other cancers. Debbie Fund has been set up as part of the UCL Cancer Research Trust to fund research into the detection and treatment of cervical cancer. The link will take you to a site which will enable you to make a donation to the fund. If you like my song please make a donation.

  • @dshawnieeful wish you all the best and may peace be with you and your daughter.

  • tears are just welling up in my eyes ...

  • An amazing tribute from an amazing daughter. I'm sure the memory of your Ma will spur you on to achieve many great things. I lost my Ma to cancer too recently. Like you I'm trying to cope with the emotions through music. I wrote a song for her called 'My Friend' that is also dedicated to others who have lost a loved one. If you have chance hope you'll have a listen. Best wishes to you and your family.

  • Sarah's put 6 tracks on soundcloud. If you're interested in hearing more of her work, please have a listen. Very proud Dad.

  • this is so good also i lost my mum to cancer on my birthday and also on halloween i lost my nan(her birthday) and i lost my brother on christmas day(his and my mums birthday) also 6 days after my birthday i lost my mate such a bad year

  • Such a sentimental and moving video. After losing my Mum in January this year, I just felt emptiness. Losing your Mother at such a young age is just something difficult to comprehend. I ultimately realize that my Mum won't be there to see me have children, or go to university or get married. That is the most difficult thing anyone can face. The song and the wonderfully arranged montage just display your true dedication towards her, and I commend you for that. Once again, such a wonderful video.

  • oh my god.. speechless. amazing (:

  • this is amazing :) im actually crying right now.. your voice is beautiful.

  • I just wanted to say beautiful song.. My daughter is 11 and i am 35. Her mother my wife died october 19 2010. The really got to me. Thank you :) We are still seeing in the dark awaiting to see the light...

  • What a great tribute to someone loved very much.

I don't the story, but I guess from the video that your mum had cancer.

I wish I could do something like this for my wife. I lost her in 2009 - Theres so much more I wish I'd done, but then failure wasn't an option in my eyes. It hurts so much everytime I think about it all. The nearest I got to doing this... was to build the coffin... That was the hardest thing I've ever had to build. More tears went into the oak, than polish for the finish...
