1926. written by Harry M. Woods
this is my attempt at this popular song which has been sung by many artists, including Cliff Edwards, Doris Day, Dean Martin and Al Jolson, for whom it became a #1 Billboard hit.
It was raining this morning so we recorded it on the back porch. I used a mya moe soprano ukulele.
Special thanks go to Clarabelle, Valerie and Evangeline, my three groupies, for turning up to cheer!!! Hope you get a smile out of it! And remember, "live, love, laugh and be happy!"
bravo! my da used to sing this to me but he rolled it into bye bye blackbird ...

totally cool! Let me know if you ever want to do a collaboration. My mom (who's now almost 83 and sang this to me almost every day when I was a kid) would totally DIG it. Very nice. Put a BIG smile on my face :)
