  • what's with all of these stupid depression theories? this is often what someone's voice sounds like after touring and playing like 30 nights in a row, which he does all the time.

Tim's voice has always been raspy too, it's his vocal style.

rock music isn't an american idol contest. It's about character and sincerity......and not giving a shit about what you sound like.

  • i want him so bad

  • Hell, if ppl like this, I ought to make a video, irreplacable though, he is, i know. Yoda.

I love the song, and definetly like this version.

  • @iamthebearsnuggler i saw him a few months ago... i can assure you he hasn't.

  • Don't mic the acoustic guitar or anything. That might ruin your indie cred.

  • @aleatham agreed.....really is one of the best songwriters of all time...and a very underrated one at that. and he does scream constantly on tour....and its beautiful to me :) I love him when he is raw like this

  • i can dig the fact that this is an acoustic rendering of the incredible "driftwood", but I don't think the issue is if his voice is off or not, i just feel like his delivery is way too stilted than usual.

  • @saferseas Is that what rock music is about? Thank you for clearing that up for me....

  • I liked it.

  • You guys obviously aren't cursive fans. This is how Tim Kasher sounds and has sounded. He is one of the best songwriters of all time with an amazing vocal timbre. Just because it doesn't sound like auto tuned garbage doesn't mean he's having an off day or his voice is "gone".

  • you have to admire how he tried to make the best out of it, even though he lost his voice

  • As a singer"totally out of tune. That's NOT about interpretation or emptional mood.either the lower or the higher notes in comparison to the original tune are totally wrong.
