Fable 2: Technical Game Review

Just chatting about the game and what I thought they did well and not so well. No spoilers or hints.

Clunky (design):

1) Too many steps to get to critical and/or often referred to information
2) Not enough information in one place to make decisions about items
3) Picking up objects that can be used (with no description) or taken, but not left alone.

Buggy (qa & tech):

1) The ! symbol in the UI when nothing new has been added.
2) Family quick travel does not work (you click, but you dont travel)
3) Cant see the deal with wife even when she is begging me (virtual impotence)

I been waiting to get the game..but now that i've watched your review...it makes me hesitant,

Fable was 1 of my few favorite games on 360 so i just couldnt wait till the 2nd came out...but now maybe I should wait thill the third lol...nice vid by the way.

It's got some issues, but overall its a good game. Don't be put off by a few issues. Also I did not get the patch, if you can get the patch from Xbox Live it may fix up some of the issues.

He's not here to be a supermodel, he's simply offering you his opinion of the game. Making a personal attack - especially in a text message where you conveniently don't allow us to see your mug, is just lame. Anyway, his hair is fine. Big deal. And the review is good. Here's a tip - if you have an issue with someone's review, you can say "i didn't agree" or "thanks for the review." It's doesn't require a great deal of social IQ... you wouldn't think.

i got a bug were when i come back from the spire (usually) my wife is gone off the face of the world (ive seriously looked everywhere) but it still says im married to her on the menu so i cant rent out the house!

and my kid dosn't move or talk or do anything he/she just stands there where the cot should be.

Im my opinion i thought fable2 was a dissapointment , linear storyline once again good or bad doesnt make a difference to the story, no mount ..hero with no ride makes no sense even in modern set game the hero has transport ,the fact u cant die made it lame ,very dissapointing main baddie all in all im still waiting for the option if i step on a acorn it wont grow into a tree the game where the ending goes into its hundreds ...fable 3 or maybe fable4 perhaps ?

to be honest once i again lionhead studios dissapointed me with their fable franchise , 1st game on xbox it was good but not great all thing i was promised 90% not there ok the xbox couldnt do it so i was told the fable2 on 360 will be the fable1 peter molyneux promised but this was not to be . Firstly no mount wtf why not , whats a hero without transport even game set in modern times have a ride ! Number 2 they could have made multiplayer more interactive like introducing professions
