I did google it.
I was trying to answer with another whimisical quote, where upon I noticed the author and yes I agree that both Napoleon and Voltaire had whimsical insights about history.

Google that quote, Napoleon and Voltaire had a similar version, perhaps he got it from Voltaire. Napoleon Version is "History is a set of lies agreed upon" plus another version, arguing on You Tube is tiring its better to admit that everyone else is right , and I am wrong.
