  • hey i cant believe you pulled that off. i know i couldnt. one thing that really scares me when it comes to engine swaps is how to wire it up. i know there are kits but those are about 6-7 hundred dollars. how did you go about making your own? i gotta learn! electricity and me dont mix.

  • Hey thanks fore the comment. The harness is a real pain. I got a stock one off ebay and modified it myself. It takes a while but it can be done. I bought some repair manuals on dvd for the home pc.and I printed out the electrical schematics then proceeded to remove anything I didn't need. Another option would have been to send it out have it done.they might have done a better job and quicker.I think some places will do it for 250-300

  • dude you have my full respect, how much did the whole project cost?

  • Hey, thanks for the comment, I Dont know exactly what it cost.I did a little at a time as I found parts on ebay. If I had to guess with all the parts, programming software and the cost of the jeep .I would say approx. 6,000-7,000. I wanted to do a tj with the coil springs but I couldnt find one cheap enough.
