I would like to say that The Last Samurai is one of the most emotional and well written films that I think I will ever see.

@PrincessZeki15 I agree. There are many amazing and beautiful things in life that are not simply about money or posessions. The modern world could do with taking a step back and stopping, if just for a moment, to think 'is it worth it?'

@Tototwice Men go to war to protect their village and their families there. Within the context of Eastern ways I hear her hoping he comes back against the realities of war. She knows he has to go and pleads for him not to be taken.

All those great stories...the ones that stick with us, even if we don't fully understand their meaning. Folks in those stories had lots of chances to turn back, but they didn't...they were holding on to something...that there is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for, never forget, that this world, through all the war, and hatred, there is always good, becuase in each one of us there is a spark, just waiting to ignite into a roaring fire to fight of the darkness of this world...
