Made in 1984 this short documentary tells the story of the
legendary 19th century wanderer, the Leatherman. His circular route brought
him through towns in New York and Connecticut on a very regular schedule. A
new book about the Leatherman, with new information, will be published
shortly by Wesleyan University press.

  • Thanks for uploading. I live in Ossining, where the Leatherman is supposedly buried. We grew up hearing about him, so it's nice to see this information about him. He's got a new stone now, and people still leave pennies on it. :)
