When Eddie disappears for a while halfway this clip, he climbs the speakers onto the balcony that is about 12 feet above the pit. From there he jumps down and crowd-surfs back to the stage where he pops up at about 7 minutes and 45 seconds into the video. You can see the band members look up at him before he jumps. It was pretty high up! What a show!!
