tl:dr - Don't replace the lulz with serious business. Do both, with the GENERAL theme being the lulz, and do the Srs.Biz as sub-operations that are voluntary.
----------------------

Greetings to all Anonymous, the Old and the New. There is much to discuss, and precious little time.

We are all aware of the recent events surrounding Project Chanology. On the one hand, there have been the Old Anons, who long for the more aggressive tactics of the old days. And there have been the so called "Moral-Fags" who have been pushing for a kinder, gentler Anonymous. In this period of tension, we have forgotten the one thing that drives Anonymous. All the people, groups and organizations that Anonymous has combated in the past had one thing in common.

They took themselves too seriously. They got all butthurt over things that don't matter.

And lately, we have been taking ourselves too seriously. And look at how many of us are butthurt now. One /b/tard said "moral-fags are the cancer that is killing /b/." He was right, there is a cancer. But it is not one of morality, it is one of seriousness. And it is coming from both sides.

A few of the Old Anons have been taking the illegal aspects of the "Internet Hate Machine" too seriously. This is causing them to become inflexible, when a strength of Anonymous has always been our flexibility. In the past, all targets of Anonymous have been soft targets who could be attacked hard and fast, because they had no mechanism by which to defend themselves from Us. This is what brought Anon its lulz.

But Scientology is not disarmed by illegal attacks. Illegal attacks allow Scientology to keep us away, strengthening their defenses. Even though they might be fun at first, these illegal methods make it impossible to keep pissing off Scientology, and ruin the lulz.

The "Moral-Fags" have also been taking themselves too seriously. With Operation: Reconnect they tried to make us all act like a little knitting circle. This weakens Anonymous. Our greatest strength was the ability to have fun while pissing people off. This is why Scientology is the greatest target we will ever find: The only thing we ever have to do to piss them off is just show up and have fun. As soon as we do that, we get to watch them flail around all butt hurt and shoot themselves in the foot trying to attack us, giving us our lulz. Generalized protest themes take this away from Anonymous. It kills the lulz, takes away Anon's strength, and all we become is just another protest group, just like the others, one of thousands.

We are not just some protest group. We are Legion. We are Anonymous. We are so much more, and protesting is simply the most effective and fun means to our lulz.

Remember Operation: Party Hard? It was the perfect balance between Lulz and information representation. Everyone was happy, everyone was entertained. And what were we focusing on? Was it bringing families back together? No! It was having a good time while taking down Scientology, who are far too serious for their own good.

From here on out, no Operation should be named after a specific protesting theme. The protest itself should be based on a fun, silly theme that lets everyone enjoy themselves. If you want to organize a group to perform a specific task, like a mini-reconnect within a protest, you are welcome to. But protests themselves should not be given a theme that tells everyone how to act and what to say.

On May tenth we will be enjoying our new fun protest: "Battletoad Earth -- Operation: Fair Game Stop." I sincerely hope that the protest theme style used for Operation Party Hard returns as a standard, and we all get back on track and have fun wrecking up this cult. The message against Scientology will get out, there is nothing they can do to stop us. So let's have fun doing it.

We Are Anonymous.
We Are Legion.
We come back.
We never surrender.
And we love a good party.
