@mrmichigan97 to answer ur questions, yes the english language was invented in england, hence the name, the dutch actually founded nyc but again they're just 'dirty eurotrash' as ur fellow american said, but we came into possession of it by trading an island to the dutch, then we named it after the english city of YORK, hence the name.And if u read my comment i don't have to mention normans, germanics etc cos i mentioned, we're all europeans, and i'm not ignorant, so i know where i come from

@ASBOMAN Hes talking about violence at sporting events. If youre going to bring up examples of violence in US I can make one myself for UK. For every African-American beaten by the police during civil rights probably 10 Indians were beaten or even killed under the British Raj. But who cares. Were judged by who were are TODAY as individuals. The fact is while you can find violence at US sports events something like this between large group of fans hasnt happened. It COULD happen, but hasnt.
