New York Summer are NASTY!! saw a roach and smashed a broom on its neck his head went one way its body stayed still, it kept moving so i put him close to his body to fix its self.

  • @seargentkong I feel like 17 seconds is exaggerated, because you lose almost all blood from the head instantly. Even low blood pressure and standing up too quickly can knock you out sometimes, I imagine when you lose blood flow to the head, you just black out immediately. Not a doctor, though.

  • @alexc475 Yeah, I can imagine it is possible with roaches. I was talking about humans (someone said you still feel and think for about 17 seconds after decapitation).

  • @elendiel The roach has hemolymph instead of blood, they're circulatory system is open, so they don't lose blood that quickly.
