The first male dancer is Jonathon Lucas, who went on to star on Broadway and choreograph stage and TV shows, movies and nightclub acts. The second man is David Lober, who also appeared in multiple Broadway shows. The level of "Broadway Style" Dancers in the UK was not up to the level of USA training and expertise when this film was made. Luckily, both men were appearing in London in "Touch and Go" and were hired to partner Vera-Ellen - also choreographing their own sequences with her.

she's really inspirational, I am a singer and dancer struggling with an eating disorder, and she was simply beautiful before her illness

@youyong28 quit whinin' about yesteryear...time waits for no one. it happens to every generation. tomorrow's generations won't remember the biggest names of today either, and so on and so on. So quit complain' about the "younger generation." Its a bad sign.

It's amazing how many talented dancers there were in the movies. Vera-Ellen was partnered with two very talented young men here who apparently never became famous. It's a shame, too, that Vera Ellen is not known by so many younger people today. Of course, even Bob Hope, Fred Astaire, and others are being forgotten by the younger generation.

I agree. Thank goodness for the internet and youtube to provide a means of capturing these movie scenes of the golden era for posterity so that younger generations of the world will appreciate the great talents of these past performers. :-)
