That is why God's name, Jehovah, needs sanctifying, cleansing it from the filth Satan has lodged against him when he said God lied about them dying, that his motive was control, that God was no greater than they were, that God did not have the right to rule over them, that God was trying to keep them from good things, and that God's creation only serves him for what they can get out of it. Additionally, by making this argument he was in effect saying that they were following God simply because they did not know any better.
However, by dying sinless though in Satan's domain, Jesus proved him a liar for all time by showing that a servant of God could maintain faithfulness out of love without bribes (if Jesus were God himself, this would not be possible; this is why many in Christendom don't understand why God's name needs sanctifying), thus Satan's fate was sealed. So we learn from Satan that apostates try to get others to follow after them in the same way that they themselves fell out, because it is what they have personal experience with and can understand the mindset.
Satan did not stop there, though. He needed to show that he was not the only angel that wanted to think for themselves. Look at the angels that rebelled later. They all came down out of heaven to have sex with human females, just as the Israelites in the wilderness went after the women Balaam sent. (Genesis 6:1-2; Numbers 25:1) They wanted what they felt was restricted to them. Satan is a broken record and uses the same tricks over and over. Likewise apostates do nothing new, borrowing Satan's tricks and providing no hope to those whom they draw away.
All Satan is trying to do now is turn as much of the world against God as he can. In the end he will be destroyed and all traces of his wickedness.
WHY DO THEY DO IT?
"Many have gone out from us," Paul said, "but they were not of our sort." (1 John 2:19) Many who have left Jehovah's organization seek to "beat their brothers" because they left behind the only thing that had meaning in their lives and now they are jealous and seek to undermine our happiness. (Matthew 24:48-51) They will try many different things to try to get others to fall away after them. It becomes their obsession.
Just like Satan, apostates resent any form of control. Thus they seek to control others because of their own lack of control. One argument that apostates use against us is that the organization refers too much to "obedience", citing an article or public talk on obedience and how much obedience is mentioned in the talk. However, in an article about "obedience", that word is going to appear many times just as "faith" appears many times in a discourse on that subject, so don't by any means take that as brainwashing. The Bible mentions variations on the words "obedience" and "subjection" 188 times, 52 of those times in Paul's letters alone, 16 of those in the book of Romans. Peter mentions it 12 times in his first letter.
Clearly obedience is no small thing to Christians and is the reason apostates rebel. In fact, the very nature of sin is rebellion, so it is understandable if it is a subject that repeats as a common theme in any religion's repertoire. Paul said he was obedient to "God as ruler, rather than men," but also says to "be obedient to the superior authorities" and "to parents" and "to those taking the lead," and "Let wives be in subjection to their husbands as to the Lord." (Acts 5:29, Romans 13:1; Ephesians 5:22; 6:1; Hebrews 13:17) With how frequently people begin to seek out their own way, balking under external authorities, apostates being a prime example, it is no wonder that any religion has to frequently remind its members to be obedient in line with Paul's direction.

12. They don't report child abuse to the police because they were directed by their lawyers not to, they don't anounce it in the congregation for fear of being sued for slander.
13. Now you know these things, you will have to varify for yourself, once you do you will never be able to continue as a member of the cult. You have a difficult road ahead, but when is all said and done and the org has abandond you, we will still be here to help you pick up the pieces.

1. Jerusilem did not fall in 607 BCE.
2. The JW beliefs are now totally different to what they were in the begining.
3. There are douzens of false prophercies that failed to come tue, ie 1975.
4. The generation of 1914 have all but died off which is why they have, yet again had to re-write their books according to 'new light'
