As a guy, I can say that I would much prefer a girl who can eat a meal with me without discomfort or embarrassment. While I typically find girls who are of average weight a bit more appealing physically, that is far less important to me than being comfortable with who you are and how you look.

I think putting a Photoshop (or whatever programmed used) logo on the photo is a fair warning. Or putting a warning inside of the magazine cover. Or both! But I do think some warning has to be made because not everyone understands that most things are edited until its basically no longer the same person.

i hate how every time the question of weight comes up someone always tries to say that you can't be healthy without being skinny. BMI exists for a reason, and someone can have a little fat on their stomach or a little jiggle to their thighs without being unhealthy or overweight. i think that someone that focuses all their energy on being thin and fit will probably be more unhealthy mentally than someone that lives with the fact that they don't look perfect and that focuses instead on being happy

A good appetite is VERY sexy, IMHO. And most guys will be thrilled to see you naked, imperfections and all. Love your body, whatever the shape, and most others will love it, too. - from a pretty typical guy.

I started dating my girlfriend when she was close to 250 lbs, and I honestly didn't really even pay attention to that part. She's now down to about 190, but because she wanted to be healthy, not because she wanted to look better to me. Girls, most guys don't care about "perfection," and the ones who do are jerks you shouldn't want to be with anyway.

Some days I'll see one of my friends and think she's fine and the next I'll think "fat bitch" and I feel horrible about it because she's a sweet person and beautiful in her own way. Sometimes I'll stand in front of my mirror and hate my slight tummy and the next day I'll see it and think "aww I still got some baby fat".

@xmonarcx but not all girls understand this, its hard to see someone so "perfect" and sucessful and it happens to everyone there a guys with eating disorders too. I admit I have a hard time excepting my weight sometimes.
