@oktaybahceci It isn't. That's just how it's portrayed on tv and in the movies. In real life not all gay men are desperately trying to suppress their urges then finally giving into them with tragic consequences. Believe it or not some gay people are actually happy.

@wazaweizz I have no such thing as a decent answer for you, but in this particular movie, the guy does not die because he is gay. The gay thing is just a bit of the whole storyline in this movie.
